{"id":1593,"date":"2019-02-15T14:29:38","date_gmt":"2019-02-15T14:29:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/senaiplaw.com\/?p=1593"},"modified":"2019-03-29T09:36:55","modified_gmt":"2019-03-29T09:36:55","slug":"the-chinese-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.senaiplaw.com\/en\/2019\/02\/15\/the-chinese-year\/","title":{"rendered":"The Chinese Year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the beginning of the Chinese new year, we have the pleasure of informing that in 2018 our Firm obtained the protection in China of some prestigious Italian trademarks in the clothing and accessories sector.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of well structured administrative and judicial initiatives, we have infact overcome the oppositions founded on the filings of Chinese trademarks presumed as being sound-alike or anyway confusingly similar with the trademarks of our client.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the collaboration with our excellent local addressees together with the support from legal counsels at the Italian and Beijing Embassy, it was possible to conduct the negotiations to obtain the\u00a0 consent from the rightholders of the opposed trademarks and focusing moreover our efforts on the administrative and judicial decisions that we finally achieved in favor of our client\u2019s rights.<\/p>\n<p>In the same year the Firm assisted Chinese entrepreneurs in developing the strategy to protect their intellectual property rights in Italy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the beginning of the Chinese new year, we have the pleasure of informing that in 2018 our Firm obtained the protection in China of some prestigious Italian trademarks in the clothing and accessories sector.
